Level 1 Network Computer Technician
We are looking to fill this position immediately!
LANPRO Systems is currently accepting applications to fill an immediate full-time computer network technician position. We are seeking a hard working, well rounded individual that is looking to make IT a long-term career. This position requires travel to and from various customer sites, assisting those clients with basic day-to-day computer networking needs.
There is tremendous growth potential in filling this particular position and the individual most qualified for this opportunity will possess the following prerequisites:
- Must have reliable transportation and clean DMV.
- Must possess EXCELLENT communication skills both verbally and electronically (Email).
- Basic computer troubleshooting and networking experience a must.
- Familiar with terms like: TCP/IP, POP3, SMTP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows: Windows98, Windows2000, WindowsXP (Home and Pro), and Windows Vista.
- Installation and configuration of hardware peripherals: CD-ROM’s, RAM, Hard Drives, Etc.
- Must be VERY customer-oriented and handle themselves well in stressful, pressure-filled situations.

Account Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to provide excellent customer service and identify sales opportunities for new and existing LANPRO clients. The primary objectives of this role are to maximize customer retention and to quickly provide our customers with what they need.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is to bring in new business!
- Proactively pursue new client prospects and leads provided by LANPRO marketing efforts.
- Customer ownership retained for years 1 and 2 and continued commission will be paid on all sales and consulting provided to customer for those first 2 years.
- Maintain consistent communication with active customers.
- To identify customers’ needs and provide estimates and proposals to satisfy those needs.
- To manage a pipeline of potential sales activity with both new and active customer base and follow up to close sales.
- To follow up with customers to verify they are happy with the service we have provided to them.
- To provide quick resolutions to any customer issues.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sales experience. Sales experience in the information technology industry is preferred, but not absolutely required.
- Experience working in customer service is a plus, but not required.
- College education a plus, but not required.
- Excellent salesmanship skills: ability to listen to and identify customers’ needs, ability to provide solutions that capture the customers’ interest, and ability to close sales.
- Excellent customer service skills. Ability to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
IT Consultant
The IT Consultant is the company representative, when projects are to be completed interaction between the client and IT Consultant is expected. All issues concerning troubleshooting are concerns of this individual. Hardware, software, networking, operating systems and servers are all within their realm. This position is a great opportunity to grow in the technology industry.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the project is completed and the client is satisfied
- Troubleshooting computer problems
- Performing IT needs analysis at customer’s locations
- Communicating with customers on work being performed, and future work that may be required
- Accurate time-tracking and documenting comprehensive notes on work performed
Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the following:
- Ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both desktops and servers
- Experience installing and troubleshooting problems on Win 9x, Win2K, WinXP, WinNT 4.0/Win2K/Win2003 Server, IIS, Exchange, DNS
- End-User and Help Desk experience in MS Office Suite, Quickbooks, Act!, pcAnywhere
- Experience in troubleshooting LANs and WANs, switches and routers
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP Certifications such as A+, MCSE, CNE, CCNA are a plus, but not required.
